Thinking about my weight loss backwards has REALLY helped my perspective

Someone asked me today what my “goal weight” was .. I told them 165, it has always seemed so far away, then the person said to me, oh wow! you only have 36 pounds to go .. I stood there and blinked.. 36 pounds.. that’s it? after spending a lifetime being over 100 pounds overweight and after losing 115 pounds … to realize… only 36 pounds till my original goal weight of 165 is.. nothing short of.. bizarre.. and wonderful, and .. well .. frightening. Will I keep it off, have I learned enough. Time will tell, but I have never felt more alive or active in my life, and I am so happy about that. 

I know at 5’6 some people may say that I will still be overweight, some websites want me at 140 ( I don’t think so) But for me, I want to be under 200, then my bmi being under 30 is my next goal (185) , then my number in my head I want to read, 165. It all seems attainable now
