so..yesterday I went to the bariatric place
I am down 10 pounds…I am a third of the way to my goal..when I lose 5 more they will schedule surgery…I start Medifast shakes today so far I am having Swiss Mocha… its not too bad a little gritty. I have to drink 4 shakes a day plus dinner…but I am not sure I can drink 4..maybe 2 or 3…I will have to work up to it I guess

I walked 5 miles tonight with my drums chum
Its not often I make new friends.. but I think I may have! I have known her for a year or two but only as the leader of my drums class.
We have more in common than I realized.. walking together for 5 miles ( and at a decent clip for me) I found it very easy to talk to her, she has kids with issues, a dad that is very ill and she has lot of responsibilities. But I gotta say she is one tough...

Best thing about going walking with an aerobics...
she has the mileage down pat for multiple paths. She is a little heavy but MAN that woman can move QUICK and I just love her so I try to keep up as well as I can .. tomorrow she wants to try an go almost 6 miles… we shall see
Also she has decided that next August she and I are doing the Warrior Dash next year
